Transforming K-6 math education with focus on structural language, modeling, conceptual learning, and connections to the real world students know. Procedures are too often the focus of math lessons, which greatly limits student understanding and achievement. When students see how and why the procedures work, conceptually, they retain learning much longer and achievement vastly increases.
