About
Italian magazine Ferrania was first published in Milan in January 1947, under the direction of the chemist and amateur photographer Alfredo Ornano and the man of letters Guido Bezzola (until 1967) and with the graphic curation of the photographer Luigi Veronesi. The periodical was born following the acquisition by the photographic company Ferrania of the Notiziario fotografico, a magazine founded in Ivrea in 1940 – monthly until February 1946 and subsequently bimonthly.
